About myself: I earned a degree in Physics from the University of Seville and now I am completing my PhD education in the Complutense University of Madrid. I work as a pre-doctoral researcher at the Instituto de Estructura de la Materia, CSIC, under the supervision of doctors Fernando Barbero and Eduardo J. S. Villaseñor. My interests focus on the study of methods of differential geometry in analytical mechanics, quantum field theory in curved spacetimes, and the axiomatic structure of quantum mechanics. So far, I have probed in a mathematically rigorous way the features of gravity in its quantum regime by carrying out the classical and quantum formulations of some two-Killing symmetry reductions of general relativity that admit an exact Fock/Schrödinger quantization. Concretely, I have analyzed in depth the linearly polarized 3-handle and 3-sphere Gowdy cosmological models coupled to massless scalar fields. This study has required a careful application of Dirac's theory of constrained systems and the theory of unitary implementation of symplectic transformations. Recently, I have analyzed the construction of Schrödinger functional representations in terms of appropriate probability spaces, the unitarity of the time evolution, and the existence of semiclassical states for a wide range of infinite-dimensional quadratic nonautonomous Hamiltonian systems.

Keywords: QFT in curved spacetimes, Fock/Schrödinger representations, Gowdy cosmologies.
